I have loved working with Miriam. I appreciate the holistic approach she takes, looking at emotional health in the context of whole body health for best results. An issue I had with some past therapists is that they would leave the sessions entirely up to me and I often wouldn’t know what to talk about. Miriam would honor anything I did want to discuss but always had a plan if I wasn’t sure. Meeting with her felt like talking to a friend. This made me feel like she was actually invested in me. She’s a highly knowledgeable therapist and professional and also very warm, non judgemental, and helps you feel very cared for (by going over a few minutes if it feels important and checking in between sessions vs adhering to strict boundaries regardless of what was going on emotionally). I miss meeting with her (which is saying a lot for therapy!). I had a baby so just don’t have time anymore but hope to pick up where we left off down the road. I highly recommend her! She is so sweet and easy to talk to.
